Welcome to the AESP Foundation

Today, there is a widely-recognized shortage of human resources within the energy efficiency and sustainable energy industry. Numerous factors contribute to this critical shortage including an aging workforce, a lack of qualified people entering the field, and a misperception that the field of energy efficiency may not provide a challenging career path.

To meet these growing energy efficiency industry demands, the AESP Foundation is developing and implementing a multi-level outreach program designed to inspire and motivate students to enter the energy efficiency and green energy fields. The program encourages them to seek degrees that will enable them to find immediate gainful employment with long-term growth and advancement potential. To further fill these resource gaps, the AESP Foundation is also targeting displaced workers and those seeking a career change.
